so, my parents are moving to the family estate in Louisiana. its a beautiful piece of property that has been in the family for years, it is even a registered historic home. but because of their move, they are also selling the house they live in now in Texas. that home is my childhood home. in celebration of it, i snapped a few photos of how unique and special my home is and reasons why i will miss it. enjoy!

Guys, confession time. I still haven’t gotten my ears pierced. I know, I know, I’m a wuss! But, I have discovered the amazing power of magnets! Haha, no I’m not going to sell you anything. Other than on the amazing power of magnets! Ok. So after seeing that post by Runway DIY on the horn earrings using the magnets I bought some of my own and it’s amazing - they actually work. You do need to get the super strong ones though. After seeing these earrings I want to try making these and trying it on the magnets, though I don’t know if it would be too heavy. I’m going to get some little earrings tomorrow when I go shopping and stick to one of them. Maybe I’ll do the world’s easiest DIY on how I did them too if anyone is interested!

Now, we have been very cool, calm and collected about going through the process of buying or first home.

Everything was going great. Until, I wake up last Monday to our house off the market. Gone. Can’t find it.

Freaking out, I called my realtor. He did some investigating and they were offering it to a family member to lease since it was not selling.

OK! WELL, WE WANT IT!!

So, now, we are now going against someone for this house. Our lease isn’t up until march but if we don’t make an offer by this week and they don’t accept it - we lost our house.

Holy hell, hey zeus!!
